Andres Pollak

Andres Pollak is a distinguished figure in the music and corporate worlds.
Born in Santiago, Chile, he studied piano and film scoring at Berklee College of Music in Boston, graduating Cum Laude in the class of 1985.

Music and Recording Career:

Since the 1970s, Pollak has significantly influenced the music industry as a pianist, composer, and producer. He has scored music for numerous films and, as of 2022, is the owner and proprietor of EastSide Sound Studios in Manhattan, New York.

His career is marked by his innovative work and founding of influential bands like Cometa and La Marraqueta, which have transformed the genre of Jazz in Latin America and inspired countless musicians.
Through his studios "SONUS" and "Bandurria," he has produced and recorded music for many artists, contributing to the success and evolution of their sounds.

As an entrepreneur, he serves as the President of Empresas Tricot SA, a leading fashion retail chain listed on the Chilean stock exchange.
